Right-of-Rescission

When you refinance a home that is your primary residence, you will have a 3 day right-of-rescission. Purchases and Refinances of non-owner occupied homes do not have a right-of-rescission. The three day period begins at midnight on the day of signing and includes every day except for Sundays and National Holidays. This 3 day period is designed to protect you, the consumer. This is a good time for you to review the agreement that you had with the broker/banker and be sure that person followed through on their promises.
